VisionLess is a 2D top-down psychological horror survival game with cartoon & pixel art graphic style. In this game, the player will feel how it is to be someone who has lost his ability to see (blind) wake up in a room and is required to find a way out, by collecting "soul fragments" that are broken and scattered. But there is an entity that tries to stop it.

As Kyle (the main character), the player is required to collect the Soul Fragment and avoid the entity, but Kyle cannot see, so he navigates the surrounding environment by stomping his feet to do echolocation. Echolocation gives the player a rough idea of where he is, where the Soul Fragments are and where the Entities are. This echolocation ability has a cooldown so it should be used with caution.

STORYLINE

Kyle, a young blind man, often daydreams about what it would be like to see the world. One day, lost in thought while crossing a street, he is struck by an out-of-control truck and falls into a coma. In the coma, Kyle awakens in a dark, mysterious void that turns out to be his own mind. A mysterious voice tells him that he must gather Soul Fragments scattered throughout this mental landscape to escape, warning him that he will be trapped forever if he fails.

Using his heightened sense of hearing and echolocation, Kyle navigates the dark corridors of his mind, avoiding lurking entities and collecting the fragments. Along the way, the voice continues to guide him, though it grows increasingly familiar. As Kyle completes his journey, he realizes that the voice guiding him is his own, representing his inner strength and resilience. After gathering all the Soul Fragments, Kyle awakens from his coma, discovering that he has been unconscious for 30 years. His journey through the darkness has given him a deeper understanding of himself and a renewed appreciation for life.
